VAR - 2020/21

Leicester’s first yesterday. Linesman yet again with a flag straight up for offside, despite clear instructions not to flag unless its clearly off. VAR thankfully checked it and goal given. Happened so many times in last month, goals for us/against the rags/dippers automatically given off by the officials and goals for them always given every chance to count. In a non VAR world results would have been very different.

How the Bin Dippers and Rags are referee’d compared to everyone else is a disgrace.....

No fan of VAR but in this instance they actually flag once the move has finished. So when the goal was scored. Correct by Linno in this instance to flag as it looked offside.

Klopp actually raised a valid key failing in the VAR offside rule yesterday. He was lashing out at how a decision is made on when to freeze a frame for the offside to be calculated.
This is, and always will be the issue. Offside is therefore a subjective rather than scientific call as some like to pretend.
I would be fucked off if that goal had stood v City.
Klopp is still a CNT though. Never seen him raise this issue the dozens of times it has aided his team.

Exactly, and that's why his opinion loses all validity.

No. His claim is valid. It is a valid point. Him making the claim is hypocracy.
But go back to the free kick/penalty award. How was that a clear and obvious error. They cannot interpret the law differently every time but they do. Clear and obvious means he sent the wrong player off, he missed the defender diving and tipping the shot round the post with his hand. It does not mean two inches from the 18 yard box line. For offside, clear and obvious should mean the same, not lines drawn on a screen and a debate about when a player kicked it towards the forward.
The whole thing is a farce.

Why wasn’t the two footed, out of control assault in Gabby looked at by VAR? They seem to look at everything else? Oh that’s right, he’s in a blue shirt.
Corrupt and bent as fcuk.

I am not disagreeing apart from the whole VAR is fundamentally flawed and no amount of tinkering can stop that. Give me any form of VAR argument then give me a tissue. I will wipe my arse with the pair of them.
