Right, s. Cheating always grates on the sense of fair play far longer than 'an honest mistake' by a fair-minded ref. If only we had a few more of the latter!!A wrong decision after var review sticks in the craw far longer than wrong one by a ref.

When this was implemented, who would’ve thought that VAR would be used to manipulate the league to the benefit of the favoured clubs only for an unflavoured team to overcome the majority of bad decisions to go on and win so much?

Phil took a fair old whack on his standing foot at full speed and was nearly able to stay up right.
Just goes to prove all those pathetic dives by Salah, Mane, Fernandez, Rashford, Martial and others that are not being overturned are out and out cheating.
If VAR stays then the ruling on penalties needs to change. Ruining the game and often means the best side on the day is not getting the result.
Might as well sack the game off and just have a shoot out, course Rags would win the League and we'd be relegated.
Actually best keep this suggestion quiet!

They make up their rules as they go along. Some of the explanations post-match as to why a certain decision was taken just beggars any notion of belief!From the official VAR roll -out regarding communication......".In stadiums with big screens, if the VAR has been involved in changing a decision from the on-field referee, they may broadcast definitive video clips to help explain what has happened."
So if thats the official line why have we never seen it happen at any ground ?
