I could see he was offside without any lines being drawn, got no problem with that decision.

Fans have now bought into the concept of a chafed nipple being offside as being acceptable. This is what happens in football - something comes in that people don't like but they end up getting used to it and even promoting it.

It's not an exact science because the point at which the ball leaves a player's foot cannot be determined. Roll back a few frames and very marginal calls can go the other way.

This is only offside in the VAR era, hence the lines on the screen. In the Pre-VAR era, that gets slowed down, the commentator says "he's level" and nobody complains.
