Won't happen unless theose in charge want it too.

What will fans do? Boycott, covid has diminished that effect, plus in tge UK fans are too busy taking cheap shots at each otger to porperly unite over any subject, though tge PPV foodbank campaign showed hope that cooperation can happen

Complete opposite mate,clubs want fans back, player's want fans back,and not just for financial reasons.
Hypothetical if no fans were ever allowed in any grounds,ever.
TV might love it,but sponsorship and other outlets would find another sport to invest in,
Plus how much would tv put there subs up,they could charge what they want,and then people with fk it off for good..
We seen it no long ago for PPV £15 per game,(I think it was).
As I said before I keep it VAR but it needs amending drastically.
 
Its on a par in popularity with the poll tax coming in under Thatcher.
But back then we didn't have a snowflake society so the masses rioted to protest against it (all to no avail I might add, you never beat the mafia establishment).
I could imagine protests against VAR today being people on 1 knee with rainbow coloured laces banging pots and pans saying "we dont like it, but we go with whatever you tell us".
A very different world these days, so we put up and shut up, and thats why there are so many changes today to the sport that was so beautifully untouched for decades while it was working class

At 3am l would guess more pissed than delusional. ;)
 
Offside wants doing away with altogether , all the decent goals wiped off because some prick can draw straight lines to prove the big toe was offside is a complete nonsense!
What happened to the daylight rule?
I think I’d rather go back to the Brown envelope refs robbing us as at least it was instant and we can sing “Who’s The Bastard In The Black” again!

What daylight rule? It was a suggestion but it never existed.
 
The problem is not VAR but the incompetent tw@s running it under Old Mother Riley. Football is not an exact science but OMR treats it like one.
 
It's come too far. There is no going back because it is now world wide across various leagues (and Internationals too). It's not the tech, it's the buffoons running it.
The thing is that it could be fixed, although whoever put PiGMOL in charge will find it impossible to get shot of the idiots. No idea what the contract was but the sooner they can get ex-footballer, ex-referees and the like to officiate the better.
