Blame Atkinson for the Sergio incident in the derby. Oliver is still an utter **** though.
Oops,

Oliver was also the twat who ruled out Jesus "winner" against Spuds, and he was on VAR for Rashford penalty. There are loads of examples, and he really doesn't like us. Used to be referred to as the bottler, now just a f***king cheat!!

Ok. Let’s imagine no VAR.

Salah does a ridiculous dive against Man City. Ref gives a penalty

‘’the games corrupt , never watching it again ‘‘

Salah is miles offside. Goes through and scores.

‘’ the games corrupt. Never watching it again’’

Van Dijk elbows Sterling in the face as hard as possible and on purpose. The ref doesn’t spot it.

‘’The games corrupt. Never watching it again’’

All the above examples were happening before VAR.

It became so farcical that eventually we needed technology to help refs.

VAR has no way been great, it still has it flaws. But it’s way better than a ref guessing on decisions he didn’t see.

They all happened in Liverpool games last year with VAR! Maybe not the elbow but there were plenty of sly punches, kicks and pushes into hoardings syntheses probably weren't the best examples to give!
The problem with VAR is that the laws of the game have been changed to make it easier to use and it's made the game so much worse for it as we've seen with the offside farce last year and handball this year.
In some ways you're right in that the technology isn't the issue, it's more the people using it and the way it's used. It isn't being used consistently enough and no-one seems to be willing to make a decision that overrides the referees real time one view decision.
I completely disagree when you keep saying it means players aren't diving anymore, they're doing it more than ever and getting rewarded for it too. It just seems like there's less diving because players aren't called out for it. Now the VAR operator will see a very slight coming together and an attacker doing a double pirouette on the way to the ground and declare that 'there's contact so he's entitled to go down', that's diving and it's worse than it's ever been, VAR it's a cheats dream.
The very few positives of VAR are completely overwhelmed by the negatives at the moment and until they start using it fairly, even handedly and sensibly that's how it will remain.

Fking Varchester United always gets a Penalty and shooted by Bruno Penances.

Something is going on with VAR and United

Whether we are on the sweet end or the shitty end of the VAR stick I will have not the slightest faith in the system until what these Whistling Wankers are told, and then see on the pitchside monitor is shown on the big screen, exactly, with no PiGMOL technological sleight of hand, There are still too many questions to be asked re VAR in EVERY game. And if PiGMOL, the FArce and the PL are happy with the system then simply show it!
