Var debate 2019/20

First use of the screen today by Oliver in sending off Milivojevic.

Assume that must be a directive from the muppet squad, about fucking time, but still laughable it’s taken until now to happen.

Most definitely the correct thing to do, as was discussed in studio, as it means the Palace team, and fans, knew it was Oliver’s decision rather than some faceless crony in the van.

Not a directive and an action that has been open to all refs all season according to Crisp boy after he asked the FA lol.

Lying bastards.

I think it’s still happening but surely has reduced massively - I recall Salah winning loads of pens by diving last season - I don’t think he’s had one this season.
Players were going down with zero contact in previous seasons and still getting penaltys - that is a joke and something had to give.
OK, so you've forced me into doing a little bit of internet searching, and it turns out that last season they (liVARpool) were awarded a total of 7 penalties in the Premier League (scored them all) and so far this season they've been awarded 4 Premier League penalties. Still trust your memory? ;)

Not having a go at you, but what was your reaction when you saw the replay of Noble tripping himself up and, after VAR reviewed it, it was still given as a penalty? Doesn't that instance alone diminish your trust in this "footballing white knight" that you insist that VAR is going to be?

City benefitted from Swansea not having VAR in the Cup last year. It was unfortunate for Swansea, but it wasn't loaded one way.

It was fair for the two matches that day because it could easily have been Swansea benefitting. Same with your example.
You can’t have some games with one system and others with a different one, it’s just plain wrong. West Ham just denied a blatant penalty because of no VAR yet had the game been at their place it’s given. Absolute madness that different rules apply
