I thought this walking out of the ground.Correct call or not, it totally takes the emotion out of scoring a goal. I'll never celebrate a goal like Sterling's again if it's brought over here.

Lots of if onlys! No-one blocked Llorente’s run which started at the back post. He ran past all our defenders. And there is an angle that clearly shows the ball deflecting off his elbow. Watching the pictures shown to the ref he wasn’t shown that angle. We’re out but what an effort; mistakes cost us the goals but let’s not forget we did win on the night and we go again on Saturday. Still a lot to play for. COYB
Some anonymous, unaccountable prick in a VT suite decides what the referee sees.Surely the ref should be shown multiple angles not just one
Clattenburg's actual words: "If the ball had gone in off his arm or hand then it would have been disallowed, even if the contact was not deliberate."That's the only thing I'm angry about. It was criminal to show him just one angle and one that looks like no touch was made. I think it was good call by ref, but if other angle was shown and it had to be shown, maybe he'd be under mental pressure or whatever to cancel it. Or that Clattenburg is 100% right and all that was important to Cekir was that he saw that the hip was the last part that touched the ball.
Not the only reason but they get that right and we most likely win the tie. There was a angle here from the broadcaster in Australia Optus Sports that showed the deflection off Llorente's arm but it was never shown to the ref when he checked it, I'm not sure where Optus Sports get their feed from.
They had a segment on the post game show dedicated to that VAR review and all the panelists were baffled and said how amateurish it was that the ref wasn't shown that view, especially in a tournament of the magnitude of the Champions League.
It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth to lose like that, or have VAR and it not be used properly at such a big moment, with all the angles shown to the ref. Not the reason we lost the tie, but it makes you wonder.
BT should never be given the responsibility of providing the angles again, if the rumour is true that they chose them. Give it to a Canadian broadcaster, they seem the least corruptible... they drive with headlights on in the day.
