Var debate 2019/20

Another goal disallowed for marginal offside in Brighton v Bournemouth game. They will have to change offside and go back to the daylight between the players rule. All this toe nail, armpit, arse cheek nonsense is ruining the game.

I agree aswell. Problem is with this, is that you’re technically allowing players to be offside and there will still be anger if the daylight is absolutely minimal.

Still better than the current system, any overlap it is a goal.

The Scousers would all be wearing the loosest fitting kit they can find.

Just posted similar in the PL thread but: I’d have no objection if the VAR told the ref to look or just made a decision after watching again, once. As for offsides, if the VAR can see it’s offside on the replay, just give it. Once the slide-rule, logarithms and trigonometry tools need to be unpacked, it’s NOT offside. All simple and straightforward unlike the shambles we seem to be making of it.

are we the only set of fans that think this I don't go on other forums , but have heard f**k VAR song at a few grounds
Not just us , obviously with the partisan nature of football fans will laugh when they get a decision but know that it won’t be long until they are fucked over next ( unless you’re Liverpool) , it’s hated all over Europe but intill the fans show their power & threaten to boycott the games this abomination will continue . In an effort to to have everything perfect they have ruined the flow of the game & more importantly the celebration of goals , the main reason we watch football.
At the moment they’re saying it’s here to stay , like it or lump it . I beleive many will lump it at the end of the season as it’s just not the same game anymore.

Wolves fans generally hate VAR with a passion. Apparently we are now the only team in the league that hasn't had a decision changed in our favour by VAR

So Pukkis goal ruled out for offside even though he was onside....the official var reason is because he came back from an offside position before the ball was played even though he was onside ?! confused as fuck ?!??!

What ??? Not watching but are you saying he was on side when passed to ? After he came back on side ...does that mean once you are off side you are off side for the rest of the match !

Remember when people were worried VAR would take all the talking points out of a game? Now it's the only thing talked about. It's shit. It should be scrapped and never to return. My worry is in the summer they will talk about lessons learnt and improving it and we will have the same shit next season too.

At the time that's what they said the official reason was from VAR...…..the commentary team and studio are backtracking now trying to make out he was offside
