We can’t be sure though still and VAR isn’t putting it right, as we’ve seen again today.

It takes away the emotion and both fans were fed up today.

I don’t think fans are fed up with VAR, I think they are fed up with not knowing if the tit in charge of VAR is going to come back with the correct decision.

Appalling referee and officials. Villa were let off so many times, niggly fouls going unpunished whereas as per usual the ref couldn’t wait to book us for similar fouls. Grealish should’ve received a 2nd yellow on 3?separate occasions but the ref bottled it

What happened with our second goal today, is obvious to me, var couldn't see Deli Ali using his bicep last week, yet ours goals get scrutinised beyond belief. Var was looking for something, anything that they could to find a reason to disallow the goal, they must have spent 5 minutes reviewing and replaying the same thing to find a contentious angle that suits them.
We are being scrutinised far more than other teams and the time its taking to review is revealing the bias.

The ref was not going to book Grealish the first time, he took far to long to get the card out and then decided it was inevitable, yet with both of Ferdaninho's he couldn't wait to flash the card and pull us up.

I didn’t particularly want him sent off and his fouls didn’t really merit it but in the totally fucked up non contact pansyass modern game he deserved to go which made it even more galling when Fern got his marching orders
