There’s no var at Anfield or Old Trafford apparently.

Convinced of it.

I can remember a game early doors at Old Trafford where a similar offside call wasn't scrutinised and when shown the VAR lines and grids used where nowhere to be seen.

If this is true then there is zero sporting integrity in this league this season and i mean zero.

Again and its really really important here, there are no lines to be seen anywhere?

Official VAR lines and grids as seen in the Sheff Utd offside are nowhere to be seen?

Ref watch says VAR got it right, Salah is onside but they are unable to show us the lines used?

Why is that?

Because there were no VAR lines to be shown

I initially welcomed the introduction of VAR, naively thinking it would enhance the game and eliminate any potential bias from refs as their decisions would face greater scrutiny. The precise opposite has happened though, as many predicted it would, and there is now far more opportunity for officials to influence games as they see fit. The explanation given yesterday for the Alexander-Arnold handball (that his arm was in a "natural" position) is an insult to fans' intelligence, and the haste with which they concluded that Salah was onside makes a mockery of the system. I'm absolutely certain that if those two calls had been the other way around, Liverpool would've been awarded the penalty and the goal for us would have been judged offside.

I shouted 'offside' in real time then expected a 3 minute var farce with lines and super slo mo. I'm still waiting.
