That’s based on the curvature of the Earth, whilst Anfield is the greatest place on Earth, it certainly isn’t the biggest

Nothing to see here thenApparently so
Why one day it is handball, and another it’s not a handball. Don’t ask me, ask them [referees]. Knock on the door, phone call, don’t ask me!”
Pep Guardiola on the officials decisions in
Former Premier League referee Bobby Madley [on twitter] on the #ManCity first-half penalty claim: “As [Bernardo] Silva handled the ball before TAA, this would have been penalised, even if a penalty had been awarded. Attacking handball doesn’t have to be deliberate..."Bobby Madley: "So, a penalty would never have been possible due to it touching [Bernardo] Silva hand in buildup.” *This tweet has since been deleted.*
So var should have stopped the game for a freekick to them
It's not fit for purpose. When John Motson, Gary Lineker and plenty of others are calling it out, there's something seriously wrong. This season needs an asterisk against it, it's a disaster and it's going to get worse because the people in charge "think" we need to get used to it. That's the level of stupidity we're dealing with.Every single tight offside gets the full var treatment, this one did not, they showed no lines or any forensic look at it and it took sky 30mins to show a mocked up pic,we have still seen not seen the var look at it,also when do they explain a decision during a game? it stinks

The atmosphere doesn’t create gravitational pull, in fact it’s the other way round, barring that faux pas your assessment is spot onNo, but the atmosphere is more than anywhere else, so the gravitational pull is greater, skewing the grass lines further!
