In reality what has been happening is that flags have been going up, a free kick is warded and nothing is said except in the Everton case when the ref didn't blow despite the flag being up.

With such a close call for the Leicester goal it was strange why the Lino wants to make the call especially as it was a one on one. There was no point to him flagging offside, if he had been correct the goal wouldn’t stand after the VAR review. In those situations the flag should always be kept down until after the passage of play, as soon as the ball is dead the Lino can then flag with his opinion but VAR is the ultimate arbiter (unfortunately).
 
Ceferin now saying VAR is ruining the game. His visit to City obvs did hlm good.
UEFA to the rescue!
 
Pep made a comment in his post match interview about "....other things we cannot control...." Did anyone else think he was commenting on the implementation of VAR ?

Given it a right hammering in the D Mirror pointing out that anyone with a big nose is at a disadvantage.
