Right so where does this DCL red card overturn leave VAR? It's a PR disaster this one. How can a system thats brought in to stop mistakes, be the one thing that makes a mistake? It really should have a break until it's ready. It's an utter farce - STILL - and has ruined the game for me and AT LEAST 50% of football fans
Totally agree.
It's completely killed my love for football.
I've totally lost interest at one time I'd be looking forward to watching neverton
not now thanks to var ill watch silent witness from Monday instead

i wonder if VAR will be offical time keper in today's games ? twice in first half newcastle v city Fletch said after stoppages that VAR had informed the ref game stopped for 5 minutes eddie injury and then again later in first half VAR informed ref game stopped for 3minutes and 8 should be added on. never heard this before

Soft arsed fuckers.
The match was a great watch for the neutral and no var to get in the way made it even better.

Yes for a neutral it’s all good fun, but when there is 2 blatant red card decisions that dont get given for you then it isn’t quite so fun.

Now, there is a new progress for VAR. FIFA have authorised VAR to be audible in stadiums – this means that certain decisions will be explained to fans who are attending the game live and are watching from home

Unless it is mandatory the PiGMOL will just give this a stiff ignoring.
