VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

Would you want VAR scrapped?

  • Total voters
    293
  • Poll closed .
Fans don’t boycott because there’s no alternative- it’s not like giving your local Asda a miss because they’ve ruined your shopping experience.

You keep citing increased attendances / viewers - that’s despite VAR.

Let the authorities put it to a vote. Every season ticket holder gets a simple yes / no vote. How do you think the majority would vote?

We’ve now gone from not being sure whether to celebrate to leaving the game and not being sure the result will stand (see recent Belgium game).
Season ticket holder here..I vote against var

that wasnt my question tho

Question is to broad and generalised.

Because there’s been some examples of corruption in football in the history of the game that means it’s still corrupt at all levels , officiating ? organisations ? certain clubs ? Staff ? Players ? …

no it isnt, its a simple yes or no question, despite there being documented cases of corruption at virtually all levels of football do you still believe that it is not corrupt?

No i don’t believe the whole of football is corrupt.

can you give me, say, 5 examples that the whole football industry is corrupt?

theres 7 to get you started and at no point did i say that the whole of football was corrupt, what i said was do you believe that it isnt corrupt given that there has been documented corruption at all levels in and most cases all leagues.
