Tyler: Balotelli....AGUREOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Drink it....

Quinn: Hang on...It's been VAR'd...

Tyler: Mike Dean has been told there's potential foul by Balotelli...This decision could send the title to United. It will decide the champions....He's going over to the screen....I can hear....No foul...But there was a foul throw in the build up to the attack....THE TITLE GOES TO UNITED! NO GOAL!!!! MANCHESTER UNITED ARE CHAMPIONS! THEIR GREATEST WIN YET AND ITS OVER THEIR RICH NEIGHBOURS!!!!

Don't even joke.

If you was a ref and there was a penalty decision that you had no idea about because of the angle or just unsure ? would you want a chance to have a quick check to see and give the correct verdict?
But that isn't what happens is it? Instead, the idiots in the VAR room look at it and decide whether it's a penalty or not. If they think it is, the ref gets told to look at the monitor to confirm. If they think it isn't or are unsure / don't want to overrule the ref then they say nothing and the game carries on.

It would be better from a decision making point of view if the ref could choose to go and watch a replay of whatever he felt he needed to. But that would be a nightmare in terms of fan experience with 10 or more checks per game. So, given that it can never work like that, let's just get rid now.

All those pundits / commentators saying that watching games without VAR are much more enjoyable are 100% correct.

Hammer with a hard on.

What percentage of them were match going supporters..nobody who sits near me at the match and they are all season ticket holders wants var.
We are all pissed off with it and it's getting worse rather than better.

would suspect those in favour of VAR wouldn’t bother to say so for fear of being a ‘wum’ and the onslaught of outrage when Var gets it wrong (which will always happen)

As I’ve repeatedly said, scrap it for all
I care - it won’t make fans any happier. See my examples from West Ham game the other day without VAR , pure outrage over the decisions of the officials.
