We can all explain it away, I personally think he would’ve got to the area where the ball was going into so that pulling back affected that particular phase of play.The ref did not see Vardy being pulled back in which was almost a certain goal.
The ref saw the Southampton shirt being pulled but didn’t deem it strong enough to be a penalty and it was not a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Yes, no one can truly celebrate a goal anymore and yes they still make mistakes and yes it's massively slowed the game down but if you ignore all that it's really made football so so much better. I remember pre VAR at a match thinking...the decisions better be accurate today.Exactly.

But to me var hasn't improved football in anyway whatsoever
