VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

Some of you are saying the first goal was rightly ruled out by VAR, no it wasn't, well not for me. Football is all about living that moment, it looked a great team goal and so I jumped up and celebrated. If the linesman had flagged I would have accepted it even though it would kill the moment but to have it cancelled out by that joke at Stockley Park is wrong.

VAR is not being used for clear and obvious errors, it is a crap and I am sick of it.
Foden’s disallowed goal: Mahrez was half a body offside, clearly offside! It definitely was correctly ruled out.

Same here.
I logged onto Bluemoon to find out what was going on for the penalty shout, the offside, and the Foden tackle from behind.
It’s ridiculous that people at home get to find out what’s going on whilst the fans in the stadium are kept in the dark.

Surely you’re watching it at home too after all the threats of not going anymore?

I go to the games with my family.
I bought a seasoncard last June, like everyone else. So still go to the home games, but only been to three away games this season where over the last ten years I’ve probably missed about twenty.
City will run out at Old Trafford with me not there to cheer them on for the first time since 1996.

As an aside , is it possible to email City to make them realise how serious this is or do we have wait until season ticket renewal time ?
They won't care until they see income drop.

I'm going to mark everything down to bad when they next send me a survey, but not sure any protest would gain much support at the moment. Could try everyone refusing to buy anything at the ground or as many as possible leaving their seats at 30 minutes until the start of the second half or something like that. Most people will just put up with it is my prediction.

I’m seriously thinking of writing to the club and informing them that I will not be renewing my season card unless they lead a campaign for var replays to be shown in the stadium in real time. I just don’t see why I should pay £800 to be treated like a second class citizen. I know the club are unlikely to be able to achieve any change on their own, but I just want to see them trying to do something for their supporters. Otherwise I would be be better off watching televised games in the pub where at least I’ll have some idea as to what’s going on, and just buying a ticket when I can for non televised fixtures.

For me, it reached a nadir yesterday when var was indicating a potential penalty and City fans were actually booing because the system is held in such contempt.

Sadly I think you may be right
