VAR (PL introduction 2019)

Im not denying it will help with a lot of decision it will just make football less entertaining to watch.

Plus it its such a success why do you players and managers coming out every week criticising it.

Granted it will make football slightly duller due to correct calls 99% of the time. Nothing controversial to talk about in the pub etc.
But who wants to lose a league title or get relegated based on a bad sending off call?

Which players and managers are coming out criticising it?

I disagree, I don’t think the game is less entertaining when goal line technology rules a goal or not. It has totally taken the injustice out of the game. I appreciate VAR is different but tech without interpretation by idiots is the holy grail for me.

I wouldn't trust anything Juventus players say so two of those reports are useless.

All Inzaghi said was "I am against the VAR because it takes the emotions out of a game. For me this new technology is negative to the football game in general..."
This is just the teething issues with the system which will get better over time so nothing serious in my opinion

Your last one is just some bloggers viewpoint so not worth the click

so not much negativity then

Well said. Just a bunch of opinions from a few individuals in all those articles. Didn’t Juventus benefit for years because of bent officiating? No wonder they’re against change.

Sandro Wagner is a juve player?

And VAR is clearly widely unpopular in the A league both attendances and viewing figures are down.
