Shearer said Riley told him that was because the incident was close to goal & had it been far away, it wouldn't have been reviewed. So how 'far away' is 'far away' & why is a marginal offside, 'clear and obvious'.
We have seen so few reviews, yet all of them have been marginal calls. So someone can just decide which is a 'marginal call' & which is a 'clear and obvious refereeing mistake' & the same people can decide which is 'violent conduct' & which isn't.
This gives them the option of altering the score of any game they choose to.
