I can see VAR making things more corrupt at this rate. Ruling stuff out for certain teams and ignoring the same incidents for those not favoured.

Walton is making a complete cnut of himself.
So if you’re in an offside position going toward the ball, but your team mate is fouled, you get a penalty.
Can’t see that being applied FOR us.
ThisWith Var we have had tonight and 2 penalties against Burton reviewed and not given despite being penalties. Then you have Ajax having a good goal ruled out by Var against Madrid and Taylor on Var not giving 2 penalties to Chelsea after review for blatant shirt pulling and ripping and holding by Smalling last weekend. Then the delay tonight after our 1st goal where they were desperate to find something to rule it out. It will be used to protect certain teams

Thing is, the more u slow thingsdown, the more youre convinced youve seen something.I remember a few in the WC - the pricks in the van looked at things twenty times - and got it wrong quite often. Let’s face it you could give Lee Mason or Jonathan Moss a month and they’d still get it wrong much of the time.

Not a lot has been been made of this so far blatant misuse of VARWith that 1st penalty in some ways it was the ideal situation for VAR in that the ref can see it for himself with his own eyes, get a word in his ear to say you may want to look at it again and then review it on a monitor.
However, if the fookin monitor isn't working then how can VAR be brought into it. Surely it has to be the case that he then says I'd like to look at a monitor but as it's not working I'll stand by the original decision that I made with my own eyes. Otherwise it raises the question of who made the actual decision and who is reffing the game.
I can see why we were big advocates for it in the premier league as opposed to Liverpool whom were against it.
Looking back on tonight I think it's a bad idea from our point of view. Like others have said - we have had loads of clear cut decisions go against us in the past, but after tonight it's the decisions that they can "manipulate" to go against US (in oppositions favour) that scares me. It will be used as an extra tool to fuck us over IMO.
you only have to hear Walton to see they arnt fit for purposeI remember a few in the WC - the pricks in the van looked at things twenty times - and got it wrong quite often. Let’s face it you could give Lee Mason or Jonathan Moss a month and they’d still get it wrong much of the time.
Yep boys are going to have to assume losing 1 nil at kick offI can see why we were big advocates for it in the premier league as opposed to Liverpool whom were against it.
