As soon as I saw the Var official I knew he would not overturn the ref. He is the most spineless invisible official on Var and no surprise about his appointment so Oliver could cheat his way through the game without Var intervention

Sorry to disagree but I think he got a touch on the ball so not stonewall. Not sure VAR can overturn it.

It’s ok, VAR got someone offside by a Toe nail the other week but tech that is there to correct clear and obvious errors doesn’t give the gabby penalty today. Laughable shite

No, I don't actually. But I don't think the still picture they used was the first point of contact from the pass by Stones. The human error aspect here comes from the choice of the picture used. Would the previous frame been a better choice? Probably yes. Benefit of the doubt to the attacking team? Not in this case.

They are not supposed to be using the red and blue lines especially when the on field assistant ref didn’t see anything wrong with it in real time. The Dippers scored a few weeks ago and it was very tight but they didn’t bother checking it. Should be simple, daylight and it’s off, measurement from the torso not a kneecap or toe nail.

correctly overturns wrong decisions all the time. People refuse to accept how bad the decisions are without VAR.
