Mmmm, what happened with Llorente when we played Spurs? Saying that, at least VAR showed the right footage tonight for him to change his mind.
Maybe that’s the exception that proves the rule… or maybe different rules apply when city are involved.

That one was definitely a one-off, what other club could have the ref called to the monitor to correctly rule out a vital goal and then have him shown the wrong footage?! Truly bizarre and yet just another game for City. Almost every other time in every other game the ref changes his mind.

Just a VAR’ism, as they say!
 
Seems very convenient how so many Prem teams got drawn at home in the next round.
VAR can be used at these grounds, so much more chance of decisions going certain teams ways, as of tonights.


Just thought i'd throw that little conspiracy motive out there
 
He gave a indirect free kick for the first disallowed goal but there was clearly contact.
