Victory Parade?

Sad rags having a parade while the league is still ongoing and while we still have gold badges.....we seem to really annoy them and have really got under their skin.....good job we're the bitter ones.....

This ^^

It doesn't get under my skin it's actually funny that they are doing it when they are and i'm sure there is a motive to doing it early.
Get under our skin? Not a chance. Seeing the 35 fans around an open top bus be like rush hour on a Monday morning in Piccadilly Gardens.

It is just the ever increasingly low brow MEN trying to make a story out of nothing, we have a game 24 hours before so IF we win the cup we still would not have had a parade that day if the scum didn't want this date.

I don't think the turn out will be anywhere near the other two we have had and for that reason maybe we should just have one at the stadium instead.

Haven't read all the thread but a good mate of mine works at the club. He told me the club have decided not to have aparade if we won the cup. They will be parading it after the Norwich game at the ground.

Just read this morning that if City were to win the FA Cup that the club plan to do a victory parade.

Personally I am baffled. 2 years ago Yes, as it was our first trophy in a long time. Last season of course.

Would beating Watford, Stoke, Leeds, Barnsley, Chelsea, Wigan warrant this?

Oh dear Bluedan...how long have you been supporting City? You've been spoilt over the last 2 years. Very few teams win a trophy and ITS SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE. What the hell is football all about if you can't celebrate wining one of the best tournaments in the world

-- Wed Apr 24, 2013 9:04 pm --

This thread is a bit raggish IMO!

Can't we just win the FA Cup first before we plan a parade?

Agree totally. Wigan will be on top form - it wont be as stressful for them as the league games they have got to win and they qualify for Europe win or lose - so no pressure

Indeed, the only United fan I'm really friends with is beyond bitter at City. Tells me how he hates Mancini (not sure how, most people say he's pretty likable) and a whole host of others. He's only been to one game in about 2 years, the derby we won 2-1 a couple of weeks ago. Was telling me how they'll win the title there and he's really excited... bless.

In response to the parade, yes we should have one, provided people will turn up so it's not embarrassing.

You may well have a point ......

too many parades and people might tend to get bored and give one or two a miss ....

just ask the rags !

If they're already relegated by the time we play them it will be more difficult, so we need to be on form.

PS - the last thing they need if relegated is europe.
