Hijack this, £40mil in this market is still a good deal.
We don't have £40m to spend. This seems to be escaping a lot of people this summer?....

I suspect we have as much money as we want to spend it's if we choose to ignore UEFA,s sanctions

We're not choosing to ignore them though. Some of you are living in a fantasy world!

The short-term risk of not complying is greater than the likely long-term reward of doing so.

I'm not saying we will but if a player we wanted needed became available I'm sure we won't ignore it

Hear he could become a United Player by Friday. But can you see them signing Vidal Sa soon?

I think a lot of Blues will be cut up about it if they do. However, we cannot go around hijacking every deal that strengthens our rivals with players that we'd like in our squad. All City can do is spend their allowance wisely on improving the areas that need most attention in what was the league's strongest squad last season; and then do whatever is possible to help keep our best players off the treatment table.

The Rags, in particular, are going to be much stonger next season and they and one or two other teams will make a mockery of FFP. I do have a real issue with FFP but, regardless of that, we shouldn't fret over too much over what other teams do.

What we should be concerned about and what is relevant to to Vidal, is what is going to happen about Yaya? If he is going, Vidal would be one of the few options to fill his place in the squad but not player is a direct replacement for Yaya.
