Snubchester United snubbed again it appears. :-)

Great news... Vidal is such a player, I am convinced he would have single-handedly lifted them a few levels.

Great! One of the few player who would have instantly solved their MF issues.

Ha, they must have wasted so much time during this transfer window on Vidal. Thought they would have learnt their lesson from the last window

Relieved that it looks like he won't go to United now. He would've strengthened them considerably.

not enough though, I can't believe back in May they didn't seriously go for some of the names on the European list of my transfer update thread, there are some in there that if they'd gone early they could have got, and they could have strengthened or at least added options with. I mean even yesterday, Cambiasso could have easily added something to their squad, and he'd have been free.

Reports coming out that Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has suffered another knee injury and will miss friendly vs. Mexico on Sat.

New injury

According to the report, Vidal broke down during a routine training session whilst on international duty with Chile. He is currently in Miami where Chile face Mexico and Haiti but is set to undergo tests before returning to Italy.

There are suggestions that Vidal may have to go under the knife once again in an attempt to alleviate the problem. Such a procedure is likely to keep Vidal out for a significant amount of time.

The news will be a bitter blow for Juventus manager Massimo Allegri, who is also trying to cope without the injured Andrea Pirlo. The veteran playmaker is not due to return from injury until early October.

interesting, if true then the rags did indeed have inside formation.

I think it was pretty obvious that the recovery for knee surgery should have been a certain amount of time, and he was rushed back to play in the WC, then was seen limping off after 60 mins in most games.
