Just watched the inter milan game and he played just how didi hamman did under sven.He just
sat infront of the back four and picked up loose balls and set up attacks.Dont get me wrong he
is going to have to pull his wait a bit now he is back in the premier leauge because he will not
have as much time on the ball. But i was just watching him then and to me he still has that presence
in the midfield.I think mancini is alot more cleverer than you think by just putting vieira in midfield
i think he will revert him to a center half along with vinny and push toure to right back and then
bring in a new left back.Mancini wants a back four that are all very good on the ball and are great
at bringing it out of the defence and distributing it to the midfield players instead of playing it long
to the striker which is what we were doing under hughes.I dont think vieira has come to warm the
bench and i think he will be more of a player for us than you think.And even though he has lost a yard
of pace and many people think he will get caught out at center half because of that all i have got to
say is that the italians are known for great defending but they did not have great pace in there back line.
If you watched us against wolves there were not many times they got in behind us and we kept them to
long range shots and that was because of the way the defence was set up.When we lose the ball under
mancini we have 2 banks of four sat quite deep and very rigid and solid and the opposition find it hard to
break down.As where under hughes when we lost the ball we were like aload of headless chickens with
three players going to one man instead of keeping there shape and positions and making it very hard for
the opposition to get through.I have faith in mancini on this one and if you remember we signed tony book
when he was in his late thirties and he went on to be a club legend for us.Keep the faith because in mancini
i trust.

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Manchester City target Patrick Vieira has played his last game for the club.
The France international, who hinted earlier on Wednesday that he was set to seal a move to Eastlands, played the full 90 minutes of Inter's 1-0 Serie A success over Chievo.
Mourinho told reporters after the match that the former Arsenal ace was now heading for the exit door and expects him to return to the Premier League.
City boss Roberto Mancini has been strongly linked with a move for the talented midfielder, who he knows well from his stint at the helm of the Nerazzurri.
Vieira is eager to play regular football over the coming months as he looks to secure a place in France's World Cup squad for the finals in South Africa.

Mourinho told Sky Italia: "I should give a special mention to Vieira, who certainly played his last game with us.
"I don't know where he will go, maybe to England which he likes a lot, but we should thank him for what he has done in these years at Inter.
"The club decided not to renew his contract, which is coming to an end, and to accept the offer of another club.
"I will miss him but I don't have the right to demand anything from a club who has done so much for me."
