i'm entitled to my opinion. We don't need to stoop to their level and should just concentrate on doing the business we've been failing to do for the past 3 months which is on the pitch.
Viera is putting extra pressure on refs not to bottle it in the final 8 games.

What is wrong with that? He knows what he is doing.

Like Paddy Vieira has any say or impact in that, all it does is make us look bitter in the media and give that lot another load of ammo, not that they need any as they're top of the league.

Unless the Rags start getting screwed over and us handed the title it makes very little difference, the damage has already been done.

I also think, with the way the Arsenal team of his day behaved that he's one of the last people who should talk about referees.
1) Huge impact. It's in the public eye and there is now more pressure than there was on the refs getting their games to prove they don't bottle it.

2) We don't need them to be screwed over. We just need a level playing field. We'd be 9 points clear had that happened this season.

3) Makes fuck all odds and I disagree wholeheartedly.

What I like about City is that whilst I am fine with the 'executives' or the suits giving it large and the war of words, I am impressed with the fact that as far i I am aware, none of our players are coming out with the crap pouring from the mouths of so many of the manure players (those that can speak!) and long may it continue. Our players just keep their council and let those ignorant red cnuts just keep on with their classless stream of nothingness.

For me, 6-1 says all I would ever want to say. It has to be the most significant football result in the entire history of the premiership and beyond and whether we win or come 2nd in the premiership, 6-1 are the only words that mean anything.

I don't think it will make the blindest bit of difference, the referees are already protected and will be a lot more scared of their superiors and have a lot more "respect" for the likes of Fergie than they do Vieira, so by the end of the week Fergie will make a comment ridiculing Vieira's comments and that will be that, everyone back on side. Just look at Liverpool with Kenny, suddenly Liverpool can't have anything go against them, referees who grew up on Liverpool and United success are always going to favour those teams especially with club icons at the helm, they won't give us the benefit because why would they have a subliminal bias towards us?

We do need them to be screwed over, because a level playing field does us no good from 3 points behind, we need those decisions in our favour to get back to where we should be, though I still maintain we'd be 9/10 points clear if we'd bothered to do our jobs properly and win those games like we should have done anyway.

Vieira's behaviour was little different to the Rags behaviour during his Arsenal days, it's about time we started changing the footballing landscape and the way things are done instead of just copying the Rags, hence why Paddy should shut up and we should just do all our talking on the pitch, I thought we were better than that.

Kinda feel that you don't like Vieira.

Vieira (a respected football great with the cv and titles) is precisely the experienced spokesman (bad cop) we need to 'take it' to the scums.

Or do you prefer to rollover for Fergie and his 'respect the referee' campaign.
Unbelievable and naive of you, JMW, that the battle is just won on the field only.

Fergie 'carrot & stick' approach manipulating the media & officials is worth 'half a goal'. Ask the bookies & those in the know!
To wit the penalty not given.

Unbelievable such ignorance, not to defend against the BIG BULLY, still exists!

I'm glad that Jol & his boys 'Took It' to them at OT. Likewise for the posters here who advocate that we 'take it' to them off the field too.
Every bit of attack against the red propaganda machine will have an effect eventually.

I think everybody can now see what he is actually on the payroll at City for now.

Twice in a little over a week now though? He's coming across as a little obsessive for sure.

Obsessive?

Coming from you? Very droll.

12 months too late but better late than ever.

Just letting the refs know that it's not just MUFC they have to answer to

Patrick never said that we've been 'buying refs'. Read what he said carefully.

Fuck off Tarquin.

Fergie talks "blah blah blah".

we win.

Fergie talks "blah blah blah".

we win.

end of season...we win the title.

really that difficult? no.

Essentially everything anyone ever said about City fans and supporting City goes out the window and we descend to Rags level of sillyness to win the title.

I don't have to like Vieira, it's irrelevant, he should just do his job and remember that Arsenal got plenty of decisions when he was around, and he didn't exactly conduct himself with the greatest integrity.

Let's face it, if Mancini had had a plan B and we'd played to our potential we'd still be way clear in the league, it's our own fault we're not top, nobody else's.

People are deluded if they think Paddy Vieira is going to change 3 decades of concentrated subliminal(or otherwise) bias.

Maybe we should get Mourinho, would suit you lot perfectly.
