Some people totally miss the point. Not one team in history has won every game.
These supposed occasions when we have lost points due to our deficiencies would not have been lost points had referees done their jobs, so to blame the manager and squad is crass in the extreme. Conversely had refs been treating the rags in the same way then they would have lost points where they have won them. The delta in points would have meant we would be well clear by now.
This has nothing to do with managerial tactics or team performances just blatant bias. Unfortunately that is what we are up against.
I completely disagree.
Fair enough thats your opinion but the facts are that in the eight games where we have lost points this season you could easily argue that the ref has had a material impact on the outcome of all the results
Fulham away foul on dzeko in the lead up to their goal
Chelsea away blatant penalty not given at one nil, man sent off (prob fairly) penalty given
West brom goal disallowed
Liverpool away reina handball not given, balo harshly sent off
Sunderland away offside goal
Everton away 3 penalty claims waved away
Swansea away penalty given against, goal disallowed
Stoke away assault on silva nothing given
I get the point that in these games we could have played better and possibly one the games irrespective of the referees decision but you cannot get away from the fact that had the referees done their jobs then you're argument would have been made redundant and we would have been saying that the true sign of champions is winning when you are not playing well. Much like the rags have been doing precisely because of favourable refereeing decisions
