well said patrick, a fair man says it as it is, not many football fans can argue with those comments.. He has future with this club, takes regular trips to dubai to meet owners, credit to the club..

In recent seasons it seems we have our most in form players sent off or retrospectively banned such as Adebayor when he was playing some awesome football, de Jong for a nothing collision on Ben arfa and add to that Mario and Vinny it all looks a bit strange to me??

There was no retrospective action against de Jong for the Ben Arfa tackle.

I don't think there's any organised conspiracy against us.

Simply because the FA are too incompetent to organise anything.

Smart move all round. he's a premier league era bona fide legend, and a world cup winner. while he can't be taken as an impartial voice, but he's far more that, i would think, than any other member of the city organisation.

No, just a witch hunt from the media and other fans for the remainder of the season.

The comments are spot on and well said, just hope the refereeing decisions arent getting to the players too much.

Paddy v is imho the best signing Mancini has made, I honestly dont think you can excaterate the positive impact he has had since joining.

Oh and his comments are bang on the money.

I would agree with PV even if I weren't a City fan. It's not about getting more favourable decisions, it's about making a standard that everyone understands and then applying it consistently.

As much as we like to hear it I could see it having the complete opposite effect and having more refs out to get us.

Hmm. Not sure on this one.

It's certainly not done any harm to United, who have Ferguson moaning and whinging on a regular basis. Not to mention some of the other swamp dwellers such as Rooney, Ferdinand etc.

I think there's an argument that the refs etc may think twice about a decision concerning the rags, as they know that Ferguson will come down on them like a ton of bricks, if they award a dubious decision against the rags.

There's no harm in a few City personnel letting people know we are unhappy with recent actions against our Club and exerting a little pressure ourselves. I think we have gone about it the right way though; first Marwood and now Vieira.

I assume Vieira is taking his UEFA badges while he's an exec. Would like to see him as a coach as I think he has a lot to offer. Manager material if you ask me.
