Let's get back to a 5-man midfield and one up front, the thought of being overrun through the middle again is not going to help my pre-match nerves.

Assuming Kompany is fit and Clichy and Silva aren't, something like:

-----------------------Hart

Zaba---Kompany---Nastasic---Kolarov

---------Yaya-------------Fernandinho

-------------------Milner ( to add a bit more bite in the centre)

Navas------------------------------------Jovetic

--------------------Aguero (get him back where he's at his best, up front on his own)

no mate, i'll get flak for this, but i'd rather him and vinny be fully fit for the utd game sunday. I think the above team is capable of winning the game.

Fair enough, though for me I'd sooner use Lescott next weekend, as it'll be a very 'british' derby, and whilst he isn't the best defender we have, he is good in the air, and it will be needed.
 
Pellegrini will put his best side available out for this one. I think Silva will be saved for the derby.

I would prefer that as well, but think Pellegrini is going to play him in this game. I would have Kompany, Silva, and Clichy all sit out until the derby.
