Villas-Boas' paternal grandmother was English.... moved from her native Cheadle, Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, to Guimarães in the early 1900s
 
Oh I see whats been going on. AVB has resigned and is in London now apparently, which means Chelsea don't have to pay the 15m release clause. Shrewd bit of business.

Anyway short of a biblical disaster, he's the next manager and should be announced within 24 hours.

yeah lol and apprentley he was really close to his grandmonther. taught him perfect english

on twitter its saying that vilas will pay the money himself
 
The £13m will still have to be paid. It's not as simple as resign and the fee is null and void.

As mentioned, BBC stating reports in Portugal saying he has paid it himself. I am sure he will be reimbursed.
 
He's definitely the manager of the moment; really interested to see how he copes at Chelsea next season.
 
FUCK SAKE THIS HAS RUINED MY DAY WE MIGHT ASWELL NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH NEXT SEASON NOW COS THE TITLE IS CHELSEA'S JUST HAND THEM THE TITLE NOW AND SAVE ME THE TIME
