Villa (H) Post Match Thread

Can someone remind the bitter ex rags that Utd got a winning penalty for a pathetic clear dive by Pogba recently v Villa

Love it, Walton being forced to admit he didn't know the rule book he is paid to know.

Well done Robbie Savage sticking up for us.

As for Bernie, he has been back to his best for three or four weeks, him and Gundo won us that with their desire to keep going.

Sterling and Jesus need to either get with it or don't fucking sulk if other players are in better form.

Thought it was Rodri's best game for a while, but our midfield never learnt that Grealish likes to drive inside with the ball.

Phew.
Funny though that Walton wouldn’t say “I was wrong”, fucking prick.

Smith is a ****... well suited to Vile. Pre game he made out he couldn’t put out a full team due to Covid, then he played the best team he’s had all season and can now blame Covid, poor reffing and money for the result. Played City... onwards and upwards it’s not going to get any easier

Sweaty top lip Walton having to agree with the official PL statement through gritted teeth.
Every single time I have seen that prick on BT he explains his view on it, gets shown to be as wrong as fuck, and then explains it again as if he made the right call all along. Utter farce having him on it, pointless.

Unless the point is for him to make a twat of himself live on the telly, in which case its great.

Great result on a horrendous night against a team with the 2nd best defence in the league that might well end up in the top 6.

We also got robbed of a penalty and had some plain old bad luck in front of goal.

Another clean sheet. Top of the league.

Salty tears from CamelGob, he's been read the rules and had it explained but still thinks it's a terrible decision. Ex-Ref would've disallowed the first goal if he was reffing but then after reading the rules understands that it's a goal. And we wonder why we're often shafted by the refs.

Anyway, tough win, missed a bag full of scrambled efforts, eventually the pressure we applied paid off.

We found out that Villa are a bunch of snide divers and wingers and that Grealish can't be carded.

Happy days.

Could do with a smoke after that but my supply lines have dried up. :(:

villa played really good, a bit cuntish but hey, such an exciting game, wife's angry cause I scared the fucking cat shouting when Bernardo scored. City gave everything. Hope Kev is ok.

Walton backs VAR every single week, until surprise surprise, we get the decision.

Watching him having to admit he didn’t know the rules was beautiful.

It's fucking ridiculous, it's clear enough that when Mings plays the ball it's a new phase of play and Rodri is onside.
Exactly what I said when it happened, do they want the player or players to have more than one touch before the new phase is applicable? If Mings doesn't make an attempt but the ball brushes him it's off, that categorically wasn't.

Surprisingly the score is nill nill on google and on the PL site, although we appeared to have played our 18th! Who'd a thunk it?
