Villa (H) Post Match Thread

Three ex-professional footballers on Match of the Day all saying that Villa were hard done to and the law was wrong as it is.
All fucking three of them played football with the exact same law in place. How come none of them started a campaign to have it changed if they think it’s so wrong?
I‘d love to go back and see if Linekar ever scored a goal from something similar that he is now claiming ‘should’ be offside.

Great result, typical shit storm because we knew the rules and played to them, a good steal off his toes , he wasn't offside when he won the ball , he just made Mings look stupid. Definite handball tough on Villa who worked hard but who gives a shit

I genuinely think that conversation is completely different if they were talking about the Rag's or Dipper's (and probably any other team).

Excellent, well fought victory. Possibly the most entertaining match of the season to date, certainly exciting!

The most surprising thing for me tonight was to find that John Moss and the VAR ref know the laws of the game better than the alleged 'expert' paid a no doubt significant sum by BT to question VAR decisions, and the rag affiliated pundits... Experts my arse.

It's embarrassing. It's a goal under the rules. However it's a goal for City rather than Littlewoods..rags...tottingham or little Leicester.

For me, it could have been called back for offside say if it was a city attack and Bernardo attempts to lob the ball to rodri but mings intercepts.

but I don’t think Bernardo is attempting to pass to rodri I think he just quickly intercepts Martinez long pass and it fortunately lands close to mings.

abit similar to a keeper can pick the ball up from a back pass if it’s more of an interception as it’s not a deliberate back pass, that ball could of landed anywhere.

also people need to lay off other people’s opinions. Yes the decision was correct, but how many decisions are wrong these days!
