Different league from any other defender at the club. Assuming Pep will want to look after him, he probably won't be able to play at Wembley and in the derby. I think I'd save him for the derby but it's a tough decision for the manager.

So good to see him back, looking strong and playing so well. The only natural leader at the club and why he is so important and why he should stay, at all costs.

Looked great today, proper blue, passionate, determined and a bloody excellent defender, hopefully he can start to string games together now and put the injuries behind him. Easily the best defender at the club and definitely a spot in the first 11 for him next year if he stays fit. I actually called him scoring that corner, he attacks them like no other player in our squad, did it at Chelsea and did it today. What could've been if he had stayed fit for the last 3 seasons!

Sublime today. His passing out from the back was the best we have seen all season. Not just short passes to yaya but pinpoint penetration passes that cut through their lines and the half field pass to sane second half was something else.
