Vincent Kompany will have a scan on Sunday after suffering a groin problem during Belgium's goalless draw with Portugal in Brussels.

Vinny would agree with you, he was Belgian before he was a Manc. Just that I've not been fussed about the world cup since about 1982 and I'd like everyone fit and rested for the new season.

How any City fan can criticise Vinny is beyond me, he is a legend.

He is without doubt the best cb we have had in the PL. Yes he has been injury prone, but he has given us everything and does not deserve any stick whatsoever.
