Yes.

Kompany will just have to do the sensible thing and save what's left of his City career. Kompany's proved what he can do, so his absence gives Belgium a chance of succession planning. Come the end of the season, if Kompany's fit enough for the world cup, then Martinez can cross the selection bridge when he comes to it, if not, then he's planned for Kompany's absence throughout the season, so there'll be no surprises in the Belgium back line.Pep won't be happy with Martinez so he can fuck off. Basically it puts Kompany in a no win situation even if he is fit to play for them. He plays for them he is toast here.
Thanks, the ball is in his court then, tell martinez or pep to do oneYes.
His wages are irrelevant to a club like City. He is valuable for the games he does play and his experience and leadership. You can't buy that.High wages saved and his none appearances eradicated. There's 2 things achieved right away.

What an enormous sack load of bollox. He should be allowed to play for his country as much as anyone else.Kompany should not be considered for the first team until he hangs up his international boots. We need to take a hard line as he is fragile and always gets injured when playing for his country.
If his wages were irrelevant, why did we have to rid ourselves of high earners to fund our rebuilding drive last summer? Wages count toward FFP, so are highly relevant. His wages are irrelevant to a club like City. He is valuable for the games he does play and his experience and leadership. You can't buy that.
