For the first time ever a fit Vincent Kompany doesn't get in our team. Stone said has been outstanding recently and Otamendi also really good too.

True but I think we still need to replace him. We need someone strong and experienced next to Stones and then we will have a formidable defence. Otamendi is still prone to rashness and his positional sense suspect although he's vastly improved on that this season.

It's a shame but I can't see Vinny at City beyond this season. As others mentioned, we are limited by the amount of foreign players in our squad and one cannot be taken up by such an injury risk. Time and time again he's taken stupid risks going to play for Belgium, unfortunately it's caught up to him.

Otamendi is physical and aggressive. Stones is calm and assured. They compliment each other very well indeed. I think Vinny's time has passed and we've moved on.

The wages are irrelevant mate. Vinny is entitled to play for Belgium whenever he can. That said, some of Vinny's injuries have been due to him over playing for Belgium and us when coming back from injury e.g. Getting injured in injury team at Swansea when he could have been subbed. Managers and medical teams for Club and Country could
Probably have been stronger in advising Vinny.
