Vincent Kompany

He's more important than simply a great footballer, and a fine manager. He's a good human being.

By God but I miss him as a leader out on the pitch!
When you look back at that Centurions' team/squad, we were blessed to witness the likes of Vinnie, Dave, Leroy, Raheem, Sergio, Boulders, Kyle, Eddy, Kev etc etc. Not sure we'll see the likes of that squad again.

Never get emotional when players leave part of football but must admit was choked when he left city love you more than you will know

Hoping we get through against Bristol City and get drawn against them at the Etihad, if they get through too (which they may well do), so that we can raise the rafters with that song.

Admire his story and the hardships he's overcome. He's doing a great job at Burnley. He's spotted young talent borrowed from City, Belgium and elsewhere and got them playing in a style influenced by Pep. Might be on target for 100 points as well as the division title (still a more handsome trophy than the shiny PL pot.) The fans love him to bits and are bouncing with optimism. Would like some of that back at MCFC.

He has asked Guardiola to stop saying he is sure to be City's manager one day. Said he has a project to do at Burnley and wants to see it through.

Pep knows what he's doing there.

He respects Vinny and is probably good friends with him. It's pre match psychology as whilst he's playing against him none of that matters, only the win.
