Could our captain possibly be any more of a legend?

I'd expect a UEFA/FIFA fine for him in the near future as these comments are surely far worse than thousands of racist chants and bananas being thrown on the pitch.

Goal line technology issue, declarations on racism (Bla&Pla) and even the financial fair-play are all very ego driven in my opinion.

Apparently Rio was at it as well, that should confuse SKY as to what approach to take

I'd suggest Kompany's thoughts and responses may well be more thought provoking, more literate, and not involve the word "izzle".

City are lucky to have him, not only is he an outstanding player but he's also a great role model. Not just when compared to footballers but a great role model in general. Him and zabeletta are two of my favourite players mainly because of their attitudes and professionalism.

I was really stoked when I received an e-mail saying that there will be a meet-up between the few long-time fans here in Kuala Lumpur and Vincent before he flew in a few weeks back. When I saw the date though, I was completely destroyed to know that it clashed with my flight to Paris -- of all days.

Before he boarded his flight from Beijing to KL though, he tweeted about arriving at 10pm local time. Realizing that I would be at the departure gate myself around the same time, I brought my City kit along (as I would, anyway) and checked for his gate and waited 'til the big man set foot on our soil for the first time. And I was the only City fan waiting there as the are was restricted to people flying in and out only.

So here we are smiling for the camera after he signed another kit of mine. You might have seen it if you follow him on Twitter as he re-posted it shortly after that.

It felt good to be able to thank the man personally for leading us to the title. Definitely a day to remember. And he's coming back with the team next month! Thought I'd say hi to Mario next.

I tried that with my 9 year od as he plays in defence for hs team, but like most kids he went for the flair player and chose Silva!
