Real sad state of affairs with vinny! I really do think this is the end of his playing career, certainly with city now. Gutted because when he was fit by far the best CB in the world imo. Pep is ruthless though and in one way that's the right way to be as he can't have passengers in a sense. I personally think vinny would be great in a player care role? I.e. When we sign new players vinny could look after them at the club and doesn't he speak like 5 languages? Is so articulate and polite that he could be an asset in a role like that?

I dont get it at all mate. Its fans harping for good old fashioned English style players when we have Pep Guardiola as manager now and the days of punt it long big men at the back are gone.

I want the best players possible for the role he wants the to undertake and i couldn't give a shit how big they are, just how good they are.

Admittedly Vinny's injury problems have probably been one of the most depressing parts of being a blue for the last few years, but this thread seems to be making pretty drastic assumptions (unless I've missed something).

I got slated on here last year when I posted that someone within the club had told me Kompany was finished.Not seen anything this year to prove he was wrong.

On the bench for several games, played full 90 minutes against Palace seems to indicate that your source is talking BS. No way he would be taking a CL squad place if this was true.

There is surely a lot better ways to type out that sentence to come across as not smug, not mentioning you were slated last year and not being proved wrong so far this season being two of them, oh that is the whole statement, damn.
