No one buys CDs anymore never mind vinyl

Sadly I'm an exception to this rule

I still buy because I'm a collector and I want to have the real thing

Recently bought Elbow, Wilko and Daltrey, Jimi Goodwin and Jeff Lynne to name a few

Being a Beatles fan from the early 60's (both the era and my age) my recent vinyl purchases have been the LP re-masters in stereo, and the 2 Live at the BBC sessions double album sets

Still waiting for the LP re-masters in mono to be released

I also bought all 4 of these sets on CD

I of course also have the original individual mono and stereo LP's and the original black box CD collection as well

If you get a good CD player then it's no contest really. I have a Denon DM39 with Q acoustics 2020i speakers on Soundstyle Z2 stands with Cambridge Audio speaker wire.. sounds fantastic.
