Although it would be lovely to believe trouble was started by French thugs or French coppers or Russian thugs or any other fucker besides the English, there is a % of knuckle scraping English bellends who have gone to France for nothing more than 'pwopa nawty' behaviour.

Why is what baffles me, why the fuck would that appeal to anyone?

Talk Shite are pointing the finger at Russian fans.

Skynews reporter who was there has also said a large group of Russians attacked fans just enjoying a drink.

It was kicking off outside the stadium last time it was mentioned on skynews, with water cannon and tear gas in use, but that is all the police seem to be doing, there appears to be absolutely no plan as to how to keep the two sets of fans apart, other than tear gas, which just gets anyone indiscriminately.

As usual ordinary well behaved football fans will get tarred with the same brush as the idiots, so expect more grief if you attend City games away in europe next year (if the English don't get banned by UEFA in the mean time)

No doubt there will be English hooligans around the port area but you can guarantee there will be plenty of innocents caught up in the trouble through no fault of their own. To suggest anybody still around the port deserves a hiding is absurd!

Just watched the footage shown on the news, a bald fella on some stairs scrapping and another fella walks down behind him and bashes him on the head with a wooden chair sending him down a few more steps.
It was just done so casually.

Why are ITV showing scenes of Paris, normally they do arial shots of the stadium the game is on? mustn't want to accidently catch a shot of tear gas smoke or other stuff.

If the police have not got a plan for after the match to keep the fans apart, then is will be more of the same I fear.

Not pretending anything - watch all the vids - how many England fans there, 500, 600 at most. There must be around 15,000 out there but the only reports of trouble come from that one area.
