W**kers in pubs with kids.

Don't be ridiculous Bert.
The post was having a rant at un-supervised kids running round pubs while their pissed up parent(s) intermittently tell them to , ''Get ere'', through the bottom of their pint pot.
Stoner,,apologies..it just just touched a very raw nerve..trust me , the times people gave me and the mrs a hard time without realising we had an autistic child broke my heart..sorry, I get the drift.

Kyle should be concentrating on getting and staying fit, not bringing kids to pubs.

It can't be easy for you to cope with an autistic child, or should I say deal with the public with an autistic child. Kudos for the apology too.

It can be so stressful. And I’m someone who is generally very laid back. You get to the point where you just don’t want to take them out anywhere, as they’re obviously not enjoying it and you certainly aren’t. But then you feel mean on the other kids. Lost count of the number of times I took the family out for a meal. Spent the whole time back and forth carrying the child outside to try and calm down. And then basically just nipped in to pay the bill and rush everyone out and off home. Luckily mine really improved once they got a bit older and is now hardly any trouble at all.

I know, in my area, what pubs are kiddy ‘friendly’ and which arent and ill act accordingly.
Dogs in pubs piss me off more. Was in a pib last weekend at 8.30pm and some ones sat there with a dog which was yapping away. The owner was seemingly oblivious !

Dogs should be outside, specially in food pubs.

Ps im a dog owner

I'm pleased that your situation improved. Not sure what else to say but I felt that I should at least reply.

Depends on context doesn't it?

If we are talking about miserable sods moaning about kids in a family friendly village gastropub or a brewers fayre with a play area, then you have a point.

But what about the cunts that let their toddlers run around places like sports bars with pool tables and risk them getting injured?

That sort of place is fine for older children to play the games but it isn't a play area.
Nope, if it says Brewers Fayre, Toby Carvery or similar then fine.

Village pubs, gastro or not, only the children of upstanding parents from the village allowed. We won’t be having any of the likes of these feral town/city folk’s kids.

I will say that attitudes have thankfully changed a lot in recent years as more people have been educated that what they might have previously thought just to have been a badly parented, badly behaved child, might well be something totally different from that.

In fact, while I did get the occasional frosty glare or even a comment or two, it would be far more common for a stranger to offer a kind word of understanding and support, which was nice.

Dogs should only be allowed in pubs they drink gin neat from a dog bowl, other than that they can all fuck off.

Surely it goes against Hygiene Standards if hanging mutts are allowed in where food and drink are made and served? It’s just been in the park licking and rubbing it’s face in fox piss now it’s in the pub where I’m being served a plate of steak and chips with a pint.

Get the cunts tied up outside along with the kids.
Totally agree. This “dog in a pub” cult that’s swamped the nation is a piss take.

My first thought would be to comfort the child which I imagine would possibly be the worst thing as it would just be more sensory overload so I tend to try to just smile in understanding.

Three points about why kids and Pubs don’t mix.
1) Kids who take Tablets,Ipads in the pub fine, if it’s to keep them quiet but if they then play them with full volume on it’s as bad as the kid kicking off.
2) Those pubs with beer gardens and then insist anyone sitting outside drinks from a plastic glass which tastes shit, as the little darlings are running around out of control.
3) Those parents who say their kids behave perfectly when in the pub are often oblivious to the noise their kids make, as every parent has a different definition of what is deemed to be good behaviour.

Personally don’t mind but should at least specify ‘well behaved dogs and kids’ at least.
