As a fellow follower of a small country, I appreciate your empathy.
As I've mentioned in other threads, Wales have very limited options to change things when the opposition get the first goal.
I have lived in England for over 45 years, so am not an expert on the Welsh national team.
Rob Page was the u-21's coach until the Giggs course case. I do not even think he was the #2. His managerial skills will have been tested especially tonight.
The Welsh FA could have appointed a more experienced (short-term) manager. Or, Giggs could have walked away, allowing a longer-term manager to take charge for this tournament and the 2022 World Cup campaign. But surprisingly, Giggs maintains his innocence ?
Also the Welsh FA have a long history of being a bunch of risk-averse dinosaurs.
A national team manager usually has a limited choice on who to select.
England are currently one of the few teams who could take a risk and play the youngsters ( e.g. Foden, Mount, Saka, Sancho, Bellingham, Reece James) against Germany. This would be a great experience for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Hopefully, they pick at least 3 of the above.
As regards my team, Wales would usually lose to Denmark c.7 times out of 10.
Tonight, Denmark were excellent, fully deserved their win and will be an awkward opponent in the Quarter Finals...

There are still people who still have similar attitudes to those who sent Cyrille Regis a bullet in the post or didn't count goals scored by Black players. Those people, sadly still exist, and they feel emboldened in recent years. I was born in this country in the mid 60's and can recall a so-called City fan saying "No P*** is going in (to the Kippax) before me" to my late Dad and me in 1981 and things got better though were never perfect (I got a volley of abuse for challenginf some racist shouting "you little Black t***" at Jeff Whitley on the Kippax in 2000). Yet there are still random strangers who shout racist abuse in the street or while you're driving today. It's gone back to being as bad as the late 70s and early 80s. Not just people who are wearing England clobber or flying their flag. Happens frequently particularly to Black people. You'd be surprised how often. Try living with it.

He doesn't do fine answers. With a 'yes, no but,', a 'l guess it is what it is', a 'yes, no, yes, of course' before flouncing off stage right l didn't understand much the 'six foot one genius' said in that clip.

Why do the England fans do this to you in particular as they drive by?
Do you regard all the fans of all countries as being racists for waving flags, team shirts and painted faces.
I need to know as l have been offered the job of Chief Talent Spotter for the World Cup in which l scour the crowd with binos for pretty women and alert the tv companies to zoom in on them.
If huge portions of the fans for example the Dutch with all that orange on shirts and flags, really are racist, l will refuse this.job offer on principle.
