At one point the commentary called Henderson “dynamic”. Jeez.Decent performance last night.
There should be one change made ahead of Sunday's game - Phillips in for Henderson, who was dire again.

Just seen this……
Former England striker Gary Lineker has compared Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to Brazil forward Vinicius Jr after his fine display for the Three Lions on Tuesday night
Somebody pick me off the floor…

Every point a good one.I was pleased and very satisfied with the win last night. England were always in control but, if I were Welsh, I'd have been very disappointed that Wales never showed any of that dragon spirit and never breathed any fire. England were always comfortable. Kane does come too deep though he did slip a lovely ball through for ... I just forget who, to miss. It's different at Spurs when playing with Son. Much that has been said of MBE in th press and on TV is nonsense and I was sad to hear Guy Mowbray following the BBC/media line about rags. Johnie Stones showed that he is not only England's best ball-playing central defender but that he is the calmest head. We all new Phil would play well but I feel he is not used to best advantage out wide - we need him more centrally. The question now is which England takes the field on Sunday?
The thing is in all that time only Germany of the top teams were beaten and they were below par. We have the talent to be so much better. There seems to be a major proportion on here who think the manager is shit. The players ( apart from the City ones ) are shit. Team selection is shit. The formation is shit. And yet a semi, a final, and now breezing through the group stage as top scorers, is some kind of huge under achievement. Doesn’t quite add up.
The manager isn’t very good, the players he has at his disposal are very good. His team selections are often made with safety first being his priority and some of us think that’s wasted because we could be so much more if the shackles were let off. There seems to be a major proportion on here who think the manager is shit. We've always been one of the "big boys",Final and Semi final in last 2 major tournaments - we are one of the big boys of international football whether you can accept it or not.
I agree with that. I get frustrated with the comms team who tell us how good Kane is at finding a brilliant cross for a team mate to score (he does) because he knows where he would like the ball if roles were reversed whereas every time that situation occurs he is nowhere to be seen.If Kane continues to play as an ersatz no.10, we will need a CF. When crosses came in he was on the 18 yard line.
Behave; nobody shouts like Hendo. But does phillips shout like ‘hendo’ ?
