Want someone to blame? Blame HUGHES

If Hughes had stayed we might have gone on an epic winning streak that took us to the top of the league, if I'd have had eggs for breakfast I might have had bacon too. It's pointless speculation about the past, let's do some pointless speculation about the future instead.

These results and particular teams, ruined 4th spot, effectively this year for us by taking all the available points IMO.
Everton 2-0 Man City -Mancini
Man city 0-2 Everton -Mancini
Man Utd 4-3 Man City-Hughes
Man City 0.1 Man Utd-Mancini
Tottenham 3-0 Man City -Hughes
Man City 0-1 Tottenham -Mancini

Your entitled to your opinion Jimmy, but blaming Mancini for the collection of average and down right poor players that hughes paid silly money for is not near right.

Zab.............Is he champions league class
Kompany......ditto
Toure...........ditto
Barry............unable to pass forwards
Crocky f*cking santa clause.........the ball bounces off him (when he is fit)
Bridge.........Turning circle of a tanker, alway caught out of position
SWP............a shadow of the player that went to chelski

Throw in Hart having no recall in his loan deal, the departure of the club captain and the only creative midfield player we had, an it goes straight back to the worst manager the club has ever had.

What does Alan Ball have to do with this?.

you can't often pin point certain games, but in this case the damage was done in the 7 games we drawn on the bounce, also giving away 2 goal leads.

you could say the scum 2 weeks ago or maybe everton at home cost us, none of them, Hull, Burnley and Fulham have cost us.

I hate to say it, but i said them games would come back and bite us on the arse, in winning positions and completely fluffing it.

that's why chelsea and the scum are what they are, they don't do things like that.

i just would of loved to know where we would of finished if mancini took charge in summer 09.

I can take losing to the rags, everton and Spurs twice - fact is, they are three very well organised top teams. No shame in losing to them.

Hull, Burnley and Fulham at home stopped us from coming 4th. We led in all three and shouldn't of even let them have a sniff.

Would have been 6 more points.

We would be 3rd.

As I see it, changing Hughes mid season is why we are here now.

no way, if hughes would if stayed we would of conceeded probably double the ammount of goals, mancini has made the back 4 superb and gelled it better in 3 months than mark hughes did in double that time.

Excatly.

Regardless of who's in charge, we needed an attacking midfielder in the January window. It didn't happen. Why? Because Cook f*cked it up with Mariga. End of bleedin' story. Ireland has been shit all season, Johnson's injured, so why wasn't it sorted out? If the owners are that keen on CL football, why wasn't it sorted out? Can't be that bothered in my view.
