It’s never one or two results here or there that result in a team failing to achieve a target and I can happily forgive Mancini for a couple of bad losses like the Everton loss for example. This campaign fell as a result of those 7 fucking draws in a row against:

Aston Villa
Wigan
Fulham
Birmingham
Burnley
Liverpool
Hull

Some proper shite in there, we absolutely should have come away with more than 7 points from those fixtures and that is what ultimately cost us.

Chins up though lads, this has still be a great season for the club and the foundation grows every strong, next season is going to be even better.

Points gained at Liverpool Villa and Wigan, the 3 home draws, all after being in front are the problem.
Mancini has to take some blame with the results v Everton home and away, Liverpool and Utd at home Hull and Arsenal away.
Mancini has done ok with a team brought in by Hughes, though it will be interesting to see who he keeps and who he gets rid of in the summer.

i blame his transfer policy as well. A lot of very mediocre players bought on reputation, and a rank awful bench. No alternative options to change tack, apart from kids who he never played..

let's see what Mancho does with his own side and a full pre-season under his belt

These results and particular teams, ruined 4th spot, effectively this year for us by taking all the available points IMO.
Everton 2-0 Man City -Mancini
Man city 0-2 Everton -Mancini
Man Utd 4-3 Man City-Hughes
Man City 0.1 Man Utd-Mancini
Tottenham 3-0 Man City -Hughes
Man City 0-1 Tottenham -Mancini

although we`ve had a decent season its now time to sort the wheat from the chaff.

rsc, toure, bridge, garrido, sylvinho, petrov, benjani, bonjinov, caicedo, jo

this lot need to go for starters.

Of the draws 3 of them for sure were poor draws and with Mancini he has had at least 3 poor results. We needed 3 wins out of the last 5 games and so far have lost 2 and won 1. We are ending the season basically where we deserve and next year we will get better.

Failing to get 4th is hard to take right now but it's better to be realistic and accept that we havent been quite good enough and it's far from as simple as blaming one person.Move on .

If we had Hughes we would probably have won the Carling Cup.

We have done no better without him.
