Was Rooney's the greatest goal ever scored at the swamp?

These fellas don't seem to think so...

the scouse twat shinned it, had vinny not slipped the rooney wankfest would'nt exsist, he was dire (as were his teammates) and very lucky to win.

Agreed....the fucking ball was nearer his knee than foot!...

United fan here, the goal was incredibly pleasing to they eye, almost climactic first time you see it, but I must admit that when you see it hit his shin, it loses a lot of the appeal. I haven't been wathching football long enough to declare any goal the best ever at our place, but I'd surprised if it hadn't been beaten at some point.

(just a bit convenient that the OP chooses a city goal for that accolade though ;))

fuck of to bed for your wet dream.
wanker
It was a phenomenal goal though
Your forums down tonight, are they? As far as that goal goes, I don't even think it was the Granny Shagger's best goal for the vermin. I'd pick the volley against the loony toons 3 or 4 years back, if not for any other reason than the sheer brute power of the strike (and he never had to break stride to connect with it). Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to gargle with Domestos!!

It was a good goal. Totally took the wind out of our sails the bastard.
But the fat fucking granny shagger shinned it, and did some sort of god/angel impression, what a fucking wanker.
In case I forget to say, he is a fucking fat granny shagging wanker.

That was a good goal, but even Rooney said that goal against City was his best. I don't think it's goal of the season though

What would you lot expect him to say? He's saying what all the day trippers and the Norwich City scarf brigade want to hear. I'm taking nothing from him; it was a fantastic strike from him. But it was the culmination of a series of very fortuitous events. Shagger's touch earlier on in the move was truly awful and he was very lucky that it went to another rag. Then Nani's cross got a critical deflection off PabZab, diverting the ball from going straight to VK. Consequently, Vinny had to try to readjust his position in an attempt to cut out the cross, and slipped on that shitheap you laughingly call a pitch. This gave Shrek the yard of space he needed to attempt the bicycle kick (whether he shinned it or not, I still am not sure). If you don't believe me, watch the replay again and believe your own eyes.

It's about the goal itself, the other parts are not even worth mentioning, especially the pitch part which is weak
