Wasting money on expensive items

Cross ball point pens.
3 times the price of a Parker jotter, but 10 x the quality.
If you like a nice pen, but don't want to spend a fortune, get one of these.
Feels heavy in the hand, and quite chunky, but you soon get used to it. (Stop sniggering at the back)
I've had one for ten years, still looks like new. Uses the steel tube refill, so no leaks.
Just need to learn to write now...
I bought myself one about ten years ago... I always wanted a Mont Blanc but could never justify the price so a Cross was a cheaper alternative... Lovely pens

Still breaking balls.

Just seen an advert on here for watches some of which are nearly £50k! I just don’t get it at all. What’s the point to it? Not just watches, it goes for other stupidly expensive items like cars, jewellery or even handbags! Can someone explain why you need a £50k watch.
Jewellery for folk who don’t need to worry about money - end off.The times the same on a phone as it is on an expensive watch.
