Watching the derby from the stretford end

I'd rather watch it at home, i only watch the games that are not on TV in the pub (on forigen tele) and i don't like that. I'd rather have 3 or 4 mates round, few beers, indian/chinese/pizza to be delivered dead on half time rather than watching it in silence whilst half the ground is going mental, i couldn't bear it.

When City get to another cup final I'd do anything or pay anything to be there. Fuck the pizzas and shit. I couldn't eat. I've never missed a "historic" City game and don't ever intend to. I'd never forgive myself if we won something and I wasn't there.

Like i said it must be a generation thing, a european cup final may be different than a wembley one, if we were to get to Dublin and i didn't get a ticket then i will still be going. At wembley i'd watch it at home.

Have probably ended up watching from the United end in derbies, just as much as our end.

That's been the case out of desperation and simple luck.

If you want to be at a game badly enough, you will be there.

Bide your time, and enjoy your moment, when it presents itself. Sometimes it has proved too much to resist in letting them know you are not one of those cnuts.

I know I won't have enough 'loyalty points' whatever they are, despite 30-plus years of watching us through thin and thinner.

But I'll be at a final wherever and however, with a ticket to boot.

I'm going to the match and will be sitting with the rags. I'm one of those of the opinion, I would rather go and be there and watch in person than not. Even if it means supporting them in silence, it still means supporting City nonetheless.

One big question tho, I can handle not celebrating if we score, I can handle standing up and pretending to clap if they score. But one thing I honestly don't know what i'll do if/when it happens, is if they start chanting "stand up if you love united/hate city" or something along those lines, and everyone stands up but me. I think I'd rather walk out than join in that sh*te.

wont be going this time so i will go and watch the lad play footy in the morning then go home get the house ready in time for the family and freinds to arrive, watch the game and then go out and celebrate in a pub that will be empty of rags by then.

been in the stretford end twice and last year was in the main stand. twice i have jumped up and gone mad at a city goal, twice got some moody stares but fuk all else. put it this way, whats a home counties tarquin gonna do? exakly...nothing. go there and support the blues, nothing to worry about.
one of the moody stares was from gary owen who was sat 6 seats across from me!!

Some proper weird posts from WNRH. Rather watch us in an FA Cup Final at home rather than be at Wembley.....you what?

Spot the 2 blues in the middle of this infested swamp of daytrippers.
